If You Already Have A Blogger Account

An easy way to be able to contribute to the family blog and yet stay logged in as yourself is to log in under the main log in for the Coombs Blog (If you need the Password just ask Steph) and then go under settings, and Permissions. There is a place there to add your email address as a contributor and then you just have to log out and follow the directions in your email that you'll receive.

Just a thought, I know many of you already have accounts. Another thing to think about is security settings. I just changed them so that the blog can't be found on search engines and it isn't searchable on blogger, however the comments are currently set up so that only those with a blogger account can comment. To make sure that those without the account could comment we'd need to set it to "everyone" this however would allow anyone to post a comment, even non family members. Does that make sense?

To add pictures: When you are posting there is a little tool bar at the top of the post box. In that tool bar there are a few icons. Next to the check mark with the ABC there is a little picture of a mountain and the sky. If you push that button a second screen will pop up and you can add your picture there.

My other thought is that you can log in with the same username and password to leave a comment (the one I sent in the email with the blog address, and then just specify who it is! I created the gmail account just to set up this blog, so it's not like anyone would be linking to someone's email address if they logged in under coombsfam. That way anyone can leave a comment and just specify who wrote it!
