So here is my blog entry for a little while. In case you all don’t know what is happening in my life, I figured I would give an update:
I am officially employed by Layton Construction starting on the day I pick in April/May. I received my offer a couple weeks ago, signed it and turned it back in. I am very excited for the opportunity to learn from all these “old guys” in the Estimating dept. They think it is hilarious that I refer to them as the “old guys.” They are all pretty old though. All old enough to be my grandparents, except one, but he is working on a very stressful project, and by the time that is finished will look like he is old enough as well. Anyway, I am excited to be making a little bit more money, and be finished with school.
Which brings me to the next bit; I am finally graduating college in April with my BS in Construction Management. I am excited to be done with that chapter, even though it was so much fun. I am pretty sure I will be the only Bragg child to graduate with out changing my last name, or adding tax deductibles. I have had my fun, but I think it’s probably time to move on.
Lastly, I just wanted to let you all know that I am actually broken. Something inside (involving my esophagus or a connection thereof) is messed up. I don’t know if anyone has really noticed, but I have lost a little weight since living here in Utah. It’s not because Mickie is starving me, contrary to popular belief. For some reason my body isn’t using everything I eat. Anyway, I have to go get a scope shoved down my throat on the 28th. I am not too thrilled about that one. I am excited to get this problem cleared up though, because as the doctor said, this probably isn’t the best weight loss plan.
Well, that’s all I’ve got. I hope everyone has an awesome Christmas with the family they are visiting with! Happy Holidays!
Luv ya, Suzanne
P.S. Since I am at work I don't have any syrup to put on my waffles. Sorry! :)

Wow! You didn't think you'd see two post's, huh?
Okay, another addition from the Oregon Bragg's.
I have been trying feverishly to get a few Christmas presents done. One of them, which I can't tell you what it is, because then they would know, was particularly a bugger to get done. It was mostly human error...ugh! But I'm excited to see how they all turn out. I got a new sewing machine for Christmas, well, it was from a radio auction, but we can say it's a Christmas present. Hummm...let's see, I think I'll tell Harvey Dean the new washer and dyer are his present. :)
Colton has a new job. He now works up at the Chruch Pear farm. He also got a $1 raise the first week. Colton seems to have jobs just fall in his lap. Things just seem to work out for that kid! Anyway, the hours are great and the commute is even better. And he loves working with the two returned missionaries there too!
Harvey Dean has been busy at work lately. He is much happier there the last year or so. He had to give a budget presentation last week, and after, two people told him it was a great presentation. He's given the budget presentation for years, but apparently he really nailed this one. The whole thing made me laugh.
And someday maybe I'll add syrup, but not today.
Luv ya all, K

If You Already Have A Blogger Account
An easy way to be able to contribute to the family blog and yet stay logged in as yourself is to log in under the main log in for the Coombs Blog (If you need the Password just ask Steph) and then go under settings, and Permissions. There is a place there to add your email address as a contributor and then you just have to log out and follow the directions in your email that you'll receive.
Just a thought, I know many of you already have accounts. Another thing to think about is security settings. I just changed them so that the blog can't be found on search engines and it isn't searchable on blogger, however the comments are currently set up so that only those with a blogger account can comment. To make sure that those without the account could comment we'd need to set it to "everyone" this however would allow anyone to post a comment, even non family members. Does that make sense?
To add pictures: When you are posting there is a little tool bar at the top of the post box. In that tool bar there are a few icons. Next to the check mark with the ABC there is a little picture of a mountain and the sky. If you push that button a second screen will pop up and you can add your picture there.

Oh My, I'm a Blogger
Hello all,
I don't blog, but thought I would at least add an entry now and again. Espcailly since Colton hasn't updated his blog in over a month.
Let's start with Colton and Seth...they have to set their court date for their trepassing ticket by tomorrow. For those of you who didn't know, they, and 6 other boys got a ticket for playing wallball in a public parking garage last month. The officer said the rubber ball could cause damage to the cement wall structure. So I/we will let you know how that turns out. Colton is also going to need to get a new job. Painting houses doesn't give you many hours in the winter time.
Harvey and I had our 10th annual Christmas Progressive dinner party last Saturday. It was great fun as usual and has grown so big we are meeting at the church in the end now. It was even mentioned in Testimony meeting yesterday, ugh.
Which brings me to another topic, I love my Laurel class. There are 9 members and 3 non-memebers that come each week. We have a great time together. But yesterday in Sacrament meeting three of them got up and talked about Sister Bragg. By the third one I was so low in my pew, it was embarrassing.
And last, for those of you who deal with the Young Women in your wards, or are Young Women, we did a calendar photo shoot last month that turned out fabulous! The girls all brought clothes for each month and we did different poses. It was one of the best activities we have ever done! Check it out... http://www.handsomeprints.net/ Look for the Laurel's calendar, or something like that in the gallery section.
Love you all, Kay

Hello Coombs Family
Hey everybody-
This is Steph and Art. I am not positive we are the best people to start this, since I am sure we are not the most knowledgeable about blogging, but we figured we could get the blog rolling and then others could contribute, make changes, add things, etc. I sent you all an email with the user name, password, and blog address. Our thought was that this would be a great place to post what's new with us, thoughts, funny stories, family activities, trips you've been on, new pictures, whatever. We thought this might be a great way to keep up with everyone's lives. Maybe we could figure out a way to put a calendar on and add everyone's birthdays, and any other important dates (sporting events, graduations, plays, anniversaries, whatever). We do not have any idea how to do that, so if someone else does........ Anyway, the only other things we thought of were that since We will all be logging in with the same user name, whether you are posting or leaving a comment you will need to identify who you are (unless someone knows a way to get around that) also, since this is for the entirely family, all posts need to be family friendly please:) Hope this works out, we would love to be kept up to date on what is going on with everyone!
